Frank Colson, sculptor and ceramicist, was a sort of godfather to all the swirling artistic activity that gave Sarasota such acclaim as an artists' colony after World War II. Colson owned and operated the only bronze foundry in Sarasota, Florida. Provenance: Estate of Frank Colson, Hillview Studio, Sarasota, Florida. Size: 4 x 6 x 11 in.
