Description

The best rustic carved wooden inkwell. The lid in the form of a log resting against cut tree trunks with carved oak leaves and acorns extending from branch. The top section of the log forms that lid , that when opened, exposes the double inkwells on interior. Very good original condition, late 19th century. Measures 9 3/4"L x 6"D x 4"H. The carving in great detail showing the skills of a master craftsman.
