The Three Musketeers in French, with a letter from the author's son, illustrations by Maurice Leloir, and wood engravings by J. Huyot. Alexandre Dumas' beloved The Three Musketeers was first published in 1844 in the newspaper Le Siecle, in serial form. The adventure of the three titular characters and their leader, D'Artagnan, was an instant success in France and the novel was quickly translated into other languages and distributed throughout Europe. This 1894 French-language reprint features a letter written by the author's son, Alexandre Dumas, as well as illustrations by Maurice Leloir and wood engravings by J. Huyot.
