A LARGE GLASS TOPPED AND CAST IRON BANQUET TABLE, 19TH AND 20TH CENTURY, the long rectangular three-quarter inch thick glass top with bowed ends and molded trim, supported by a large pair of antique French cast iron garden urns and each with a circular leaf tip cast rim above a frieze of classical muse busts within strapwork collars, alternating putto busts within similar collars and spaced between curling floral vines, above a waisted body centering a stylized shield over a screaming maiden's mask and surrounded by elegant scrolling blossoming stems in shallow relief, flanked by winged harpy handles ending as curling tipped acanthus leaves on a gadrooned base, on a twist channeled socle within ovule banding over a conforming spade leaves cast base and raised on an octagonal plinth. Each nicely cast and with green paint residue throughout, expected dings, surface rust, dust/dirt buildup, some pitting in areas, and normal environmental wear for antique cast iron garden urns, height: 32", diameter: 25".
