A PAIR OF BURMESE PAINTED WOOD HINTHA SWAN CEREMONIAL RELIQUARY BOXES, MAYANMAR, EARLY/MID 20TH CENTURY, gilt, lacquer and pigment, both with small removable lids at the backs opening to jewelry (ring) sized containers, possibly for wedding ceremonial use, largest height: 17 1/2", diameter: 17". Provenance: From the Estate of James Hayden, Natchitoches, Louisiana.
