18th century reticulated circular salver, Joseph and Nathaniel Richardson, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1785-91, having a delicately beaded edge and openwork border with three beaded openwork swept French feet. The center engraved with bow knot, crossed fonds motif, and bright-cut oval cartouche with sprigged script monogram ''MP'' for Mary Pemberton. Three maker's marks ''INR'' with pellet between ''I'' and ''N'' in rectangular cartouche. 1-1/4''h, 7-1/2''dia. Total approximate weight 9.1 troy oz. Provenance: Ron Klinger, Philadelphia, PA, 1994.
