Early four-piece coin silver tea set, Joseph Richardson, Jr. & Joseph Lownes, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1800, to include: teapot with original carved acanthus handle, by Joseph Richardson, Jr.; covered sugar urn, by Joseph Richardson, Jr.; large waste bowl, by Joseph Lownes; and helmet form cream pot, unmarked. All the pieces are of a similar pattern with square bases, beaded or threaded rims and feet, and urn finials. Monogrammed ''JHJ'' on all four pieces. Teapot handle cracked at thumbpiece and reglued. Teapot 11''h, 11''w, 5''d. Total approximate weight 59.6 troy oz.
