American Aesthetic Movement Faux Bamboo Dressing Table
fourth quarter 19th century, possibly by R. J. Horner, New York, in maple and birdseye maple, the rectilinear mirror plate in a frame modeled to simulate bamboo, on like supports flanked by shelves and a turned gallery, the case with a frieze drawer over a pair of smaller drawers forming a kneehole opening, raised on turned legs joined by an H-form stretcher.

Condition
**In overall very good condition. Cleaned and polished sometime in the not-too-distant past, exhibiting normal minor shrinkage, rubbing and wear.
The mirror plate is crisp and clear. It is a probable replacement.
