Condition
In overall very good condition. The piece appears to have been professionally refinished in the past. Presently it exhibits very minor scuffs, abrasions and shrinkage consistent with age and use. The beveled mirror plate appears to be original. There are a few horizontal lines with loss of silvering, up to about 3" long and about 1/8" high. The top exhibits a couple slight, tight shrinkage lines where boards are laminated together. The applied molding at the edge of the top is loose at one corner and could be tacked down with a brad or glue. Drawers slide freely. Locks present; no key .Oxidation to brass.
Dresser base height: 20"
There are no dowel holes in the top where the mirror frame attaches; it attaches with battens on the back.
When removed, there is not a notable scar or shadow where the mirror rests on the top.
