Description
Avinoff, Andrey (Russian/American 1884 - 1948), Untitled (Interior drawings of Cooks Forest, Pennsylvania), circa 1930s, pair of charcoal drawings on paper, apparently unsigned, drawings measure 9.5 x 6.75 inches and 10.75 x 8.5 inches, both matted measuring 12 x 9 inches and 13 x 11 inches respectively, unframed. Provenance: The Estate of Andrey Avinoff; by direct descent the present owner, the artist's grand niece. Drawn during artist's tenure as Director of the Carnegie Museum of Natural History.
Condition
Images in generally good condition, smaller drawing has 5 inch diagonal crease and horizontal 1.5 inch tear in lower left corner, larger drawing has small corner piece missing to top left corner, both with light compression creasing in corners, Merchandise will be packed and transported by the purchaser at their own risk and expense.
