Clipped corner red lacquer box raised on carved lion paw feet. Hinged lid opens to (7) boxes and (11) trays. Together with approximately 84 game counters each finely pierced and engraved with Chinese genre scenes. 2 inches (and under each). Coat of arms possibly that of the Rich family. NOTE: (96) mother of pearl game pieces have been found in a drawer and are now part of this lot. See photos for details

Good, minor stable lifting of lacquer along molded area of cover, surface grime (1) tray possibly absent
