Two Large Han Dynasty Green Glazed Pottery Vessels. The first of baluster form supported on a tall splayed foot, rising to tall flaring neck above a pair of fixed ring taotie mask handles, on wooden base; the second of cylindrical form, raised on three carved feline-form feet, the body encircled with grooves and surmounted by a roof-form mouth. {Height of the first: 15 1/2 inches (39.3 cm)}. Provenance: Property from the Richard I. Stone Estate. Condition: Both vessels with some chipping, some wear and production-related crazing to the glazed surfaces. The second with losses to the mouth.
