A Russian Soviet Space set of two commemorative covers honoring the Flight of Vostok 2, the second spacecraft from the Vostok series, August 6, 1961, piloted by Gherman Titov (Russian, 1935-2000); Andriyan Nikolaev (1929-2004), was Back-up crew 1. The first cover honoring the First Anniversary of the Flight in Vostok 2 with two USSR stamps, signed in ink by Gherman Titov; stamped, Moscow 1962, to the center right. The second cover honoring the First Anniversary of the Flight in Vostok 2 with two USSR stamps, signed in ink by Andriyan Nikolaev, stamped, Moscow 1961, to the center right.
