Description
A Russian Soviet vintage set includes one cover with stamps and eight stamps commemorating Vostok-3, the world's first group space flight on August 11, 1962, and at the same time the Vostok-4 spacecraft, piloted by cosmonaut Pavel Popovich, was in space. During the flight, radio communication was maintained between the ships and the Earth. For the first time, TV images of astronauts were transmitted to Earth. The cover and one stamp on it are signed by Russian cosmonauts Andriyan Nikolaev (1929-2004) and Pavel Popovich (1930-2009). The cover is stamped to the center left. Two USSR, one Bulgarian, one Czechoslovak, one Cuba, one Hungarian, two Romanian commemorating stamps.
