1950s Quarter Midget Racing Car - Offered Without Reserve - Countless professional racing champions from the 1950s and into the 1980s, got their start as children in the world of go-karting and quarter midget racing, piloting cars like this vintage example. Dating from the late 1950s, this racer is fitted with a fiberglass body mounted on a square tubular welded chassis. It is well designed and is most likely a professional build with coil spring suspension and simple linkage steering. This example has a Tecumseh single-cylinder engine which is connected to a centrifugal clutch system with chain drive. The chain is missing and the brake system needs attention, the body shows a few minor battle scars; the frame is solid with lots of tread left on the vintage tires. Not running. 87” L x 36” W, wheelbase 55”. Sold on Bill of Sale Only.
