Fine Louis XVI Ormolu-Mounted Mahogany Partner’s Desk. The Flat top inset with dark green leather and gilt tooled edging in a Greek Key pattern, with a central frieze drawer with deep molded edges above the keyhole. There are three drawers at either side of the frieze flanked by fluted pilasters. The drawer pulls have ormolu beaded rosettes and trefoil locks. The rear of the desk with conforming dummy drawers. The central right-hand drawer fitted with safe and pigeonholes. Four legs, ending in round tapering mahogany feet with beaded ormolu rings at the top and sabot.
