French Ormolu Mounted Louis XVI Style Carved Mahogany Desk, early 20th c., the inset gilt tooled tan leather top over a center drawer flanked on each side by two small drawers, the sides of the desk with like leather inset gilt tooled leather pullout slides, on turned tapered legs with ormolu sabots, H.- 30 1/8 in., W.- 59 in., With Slides- 95 in., D.- 29 1/2 in.

Condition consistent with age and use. Leather shows signs of wearing. Scuff marks and imprints visible throughout. Some spillage on the center of the desk, which could benefit from cleaning. Loss of gold border on front of desk, from years of use. Front right corner where brass molding is mounted is coming up and needs to be re-affixed. Right leaf extension shows more wear and tear than left side. Wood shows scratches throughout, as well as loss of varnish. No keys present with desk.
