Designed by Henning Koppel, Copenhagen, Mid 20th Century
pattern 1017, comprising a teapot, coffee pot, creamer and sugar, together with an associated COHR silver-plate tray.
marked 'Sterling' on underside
Height of coffee pot 6 1/2 inches.Â

Purchased by Capt. Oliver & Joan Hallett, then by descent to current owner.
NOTE:
During his decades of service in the US Navy, Capt. Hallett served in a diplomatic role at the US embassy in Moscow, as a Naval Assistant to both the Kennedy and Johnson White House staffs and as the commanding officer of the Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes.
