A French Silver Four-Piece Tea and Coffee Service
Francois-Auguste Boyer-Callot, Paris, Late 19th Century
comprising a teapot, coffee pot, creamer and covered sugar, the lidded items each having a blossom finial above the domed lid worked to show foliate banding on an engine turned ground, the similarly decorated baluster form bodies with an engraved cartouche, raised on ram's mask monoped legs terminating in hoof feet, together with an associated Turkish silver tray.
marked with '.950' standard, the tray marked for '.900' standard

Height of coffee pot 9 1/2 inches.

In overall good, stable, attractive condition.
Light to moderate surface scratching throughout consistent with polishing and use. Teapot lid lacking hinge pin to attach to body, body with a small 1/2-inch circular indent near base. Each having an engraved script 'F' in cartouche on body, cartouche on reverse side vacant but with heavier scratching suggesting possible erasure of another monogram. Tray with heavier surface scratching consistent with contact from service items. Additional images available upon request.
