of cube form, each side featuring a different repousse scene on animalistic feet, a medallion is used to open the box and a small visible keyhole that is no longer in use, the interior of the box is empty and unlined, the recto panel scene features a woodland scene with couples listening to music in a cartouche, the top panel scene features a chaotic village scene, the right scene features a couple in a woodland scene with a cherub in a cartouche, the verso panel scene features a chaotic wooden scene with intertwining nude figures in a cartouche, the left panel scene features two nude women sitting at a wooded river bank with two cherubs, each cartouche surrounded by a continuous motif of a laurel leave vine. dimensions: 14 x 17 cm (5 1/2 x 6 3/4 in.); total weight: 1.25 kg (44.09 oz.)

CONDITION
In age-appropriate condition. Overall tarnishing and darkening has occurred between the repousse figural groups. The interior of the box has visible green patina, tarnishing and darkening in the corners, would benefit from a polish. Otherwise no significant issues to report.
