Two Japanese woodblock prints (of three) from the kabuki play, "Magician and Archer in Wolf Skin", 1852. The archer is the warrior Takasago Yuminosuke wearing a wolf skin over his armor with a flaming torch in his teeth. The other an image of Yasho Goro preparing to draw his sword. The actors portraying these legendary warriors are Arashi Rikan III and Ichikawa Ebizo V respectively., Sights: 13.5" height, 9.75" width; frames: 18" height, 13" width
