Unique Group of Six Lee Harvey Oswald and St. Oswald Medals and Pins

A collection of six unique and interesting medals, pins, and a coin relating Lee Harvey Oswald, St. Oswald, and the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Included are the following:

1. A5 Pin. Measuring 0.875" x 1", a red white a blue pin with a large printed "A5". Bar pin on verso.

2. Rifle Pistol Club 2nd Place Medal. Measuring 1.75" x 4", a bar and ribbon medal from Atsugi, Japan. .22 Team Match, Second Place Sharpshooter. With a blue and white ribbon. The medal at the bottom shows a man holding a pistol with a large eagle behind him.

3. NRA Gallery Sharpshooter Pin. Measuring 1.5" x 1.75", a red and gold NRA pin, with a gold rifle. Bar pin on verso. Stamped Clackinton makers mark on verso as well.

4. St. Oswald/ Bayer. Wald Shield. Measuring 1" x 1.5", a plastic color shield, showing the town and church of St. Oswald, Germany and a coat of arms.

5. Silver German Assassination Coin. Measuring 1.125" in diameter. A double-sided coin, memorializing the deaths of both Kennedy and Oswald. The front shows Kennedy turning in his motorcade seat, just before his death, the inscription reading "In. Kennedyn. Abiecta. Vis. Dallas." The back shows the moment when Oswald was shot by Ruby, the inscription reading " Inhon. Singul. Iure. Oswald. Ruby. Perimit."

6. German St. Oswald Medal. Measuring 1.5" x 4", a 1974 Bar pin attached to a large charm of St. Oswald. The bar reads "I. Int. Volkswandertag St. Oswald." On verso is inscribed "E. Schrӧn. 8166 Neuhaus."

All are very fine, with minimal if any wear. Minor creasing to the blue and white ribbon. From the collection of Ron Hoskins, assassinologist.
