Description

Chelsea Clock Co., Boston, Mass., pre-WWII "U.S. MARINE CORPS" clock in its original nickel-plated brass case, blued steel spade hands, silvered brass dial, engraved arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds orbit, 8 day, time only Model K spring driven movement stamped with serial #282754. The manufacturing index in Chelsea Clock Company, The First 100 Years (2nd Ed.) dates the movement's manufacture to June, 1941.

Condition

For the purist, this clock has earned its stripes! With the possible exception of glass replacement, this clock appears to be original in every respect. The movement runs, but will likely need service.
