By listed Massachusetts, Florida, artist John Cuthbert Hare he is listed in many art leagues and his works are in Museums around the country such as Smith College museum of art, ST. Augustine Art Association. John Hare was considered to be the dean of the Cape Cod, Gloucester area in his day he spent his summers in this area. John Cuthbert Hare was born in 1908 he died in Florida in 1978 the watercolor is signed John Hare under the Mat on the painting it is signed Cape Cod Winter the painting is approximately 17 1/4" long and 19 1/4" wide with the frame without the frame 9 3/4" long and 12" wide the painting is in very good condition the frame has some scratches but with some old English you could still use the frame this picture is ready for hanging.
