Description

Boxed Rare Boer War uniformed City Imperial Volunteers standing at ready. 10 pieces, 1st version round bases, all but 1 have paper rondels dated 1900. Very early light khaki paint. Condition very good-excellent, figures circa 1900-1902. Marvelous blue ink illustrated label box with 1900 date in corner. Box is good with restored edges, tray has correct slots in side flap to take bases of soldiers, tie card is a replacement. Provenance: Ed Ruby Collection.
