Lot of 38 pieces including a partially printed post card from Post Office addressed to Miss H.B. King, Kings Mill, Warren Co., Ohio, dated May 9, 1890 being registered mail card; plus four black stencils on brown paper, one marked in pencil: 2 of these brass stencils mailed 22/15 to Hercules Powder Co. Youngstown, O., two smaller are circular one with King/I.C.C.-13/Black Powder (wood keg stencil?); 2nd The King Powder Co. Army Black Powder/25 LBS. Net A No. 1. Lot No._ 1918, both circa 7 ½ x 12”; plus two ore black on paper stencils, both identical: 50 Lbs- ¼ x S/Rex/Cartridges,/No.1-60%/Strength, 11 x 10 ½”; plus photogravure of can of King Black Blasting Powder, dated May 6, 1914, 5 x 6 ¾”; plus three 5 ½ x 8 ½ printed letter sheets with From the Desk of J.W. King; plus 24 page typed document entitled Safety Work In The Black Powder Plant of The King Powder Co., dated Feb. 18, 1927 on 8 ½ x 11” sheets; plus 12 printed brown paper mailing covers in two sizes printed address of Mr. R.A. King Jr., Mgr. The King Powder Co. Inc. King’s Mill, Ohio in two sizes, 4 ¾ x 11” & 6 x 12”; plus five King Powder Co. Purchase Order Forms with carbon paper for triplicate copies, 8 ½ x 12”; plus four lithographed art work of adds with inked manuscript notes on one for King Powder Co. Blasting Powder, 6 x 9 1/2”; plus lithograph art on paper of tin King Semi-Smokeless Powder, 4 ¾ x 6 ¾; plus three small lithographed can labels for Quick Shot Black Powder, 2 ½” square; plus larger of same but Semi-Smokeless, 4 ½” square plus three more of Quick Shot on larger paper stock, tow on one and one on another pieces, both 8 ½ x 11”; and typed document dated June 6, 1934 dealing with printers dies of King’s Semi-Smokeless Powder in different sizes, 5 x 6”. Condition most are Very Good to Fine, only one is brittle.
