Provost, Cut a few days before going to Civil War with the 'Old Guards', left New Brunswick (NJ) for Trenton (NJ) - May 23,1861. That day long remembered by many". Together with a lock of his hair and blue ribbon. And a quarter plate cased image of two seated sergeants with gold painted buttons and stripes. Framed together, 21"h.10.75"w.
