Late 18th-early 19th century, pine. Applied molding around lid, staple hinges, solid ends, applied moldings to front stiles and front to simulate drawers, three dovetailed drawers, cut out feet with added brackets on front. Worn original red paint, rosehead nail construction. Replaced brasses, repairs at hinges, splits on lid and base with some wear and a little loss. 41.5"h. 39"w. 19"d.
