An American green- painted softwood blanket chest, late 19th/early 20th century, the hinged rectangular top with applied molding, enclosing a large open box, raised on bracket feet, ending with small casters.

Dimension:Height 30in; width 55 1/2in; depth 25 1/2in.

Provenance:From a New Jersey Estate.

Condition

Structurally sound. Retaining an old green-painted surface. Wear and scratches to the top. The two-board top with shrinkage. The front left bracket foot with a break and lacking facings to the left and front sides. Casters are slightly bent.
