Condition
Not fully functional. The winding mechanism works, and the bird does pop up, chirp and flap its wings when the start rod is pulled. However, the bird does not spin, and does not retract into the box nor the lid close at the end of the cycle. The bird can be gently coaxed back into the box with careful manipulation of the lid and depression of the start rod. The case is in good condition, with no dents, breaks or repairs. Marked (on the underside) with the German crown and moon reichsmark, "925" and the VSF trademark.
