Description
Three French Table Articles, Two by Chantilly. An 18th Century Chantilly pot de creme; and an 18th Century Chantilly lobed oval bowl; together with a Samson, Paris copy of a lobed oval dishes. Both Chantilly items painted in polychrome enamels with flowers. The Samson example painted in the Kakiemon palette with Chinoiseries. All three with iron-red Chantilly horn marks. Chantilly and Paris, France. Circa 1740 and 1900. {2 5/8" H. x 6 5/8" W. x 5 1/4" D.; 2 3/8" H. x 3" D}. Provenance: Property from the Estate of Arthur Thomson, San Francisco, CA. {Condition: 3 1/8" short and shallow chips to rim of the Chantilly bowl; a section of one end broken off and professionally restored.}
