Description
Marilyn Monroe 1948 Signed Check in Exhibit Quality Framed Display W/COAs - This exhibit quality framed display contains a filled out and boldly signed check from film legend Marilyn Monroe, drawn on her account at the Bank of America on October 8th, 1948 and made payable to Gene & Harry's Service for the amount of $3.67. This is a bank check which was a check issued by the bank that when signed was drawn from the signer's account. Marilyn Monroe autographed material is scarce, especially on an official document such as this, as true Monroe signatures are incredibly rare as many others were secretarial signatures. This check is framed in cream, claret and beaded gilt with a photo of Marilyn, and comes with a letter from Kenneth W. Rendell Gallery and a guarantee of authenticity from a previous auction. Measurements: 14.5"L x 12.25"W.
