Native American, North America, Arizona, Hopi, ca. 1920s. An exceptional thick-walled ceramic bowl with a fascinating decorative program painted with black and sienna strokes against a creamy yellow-beige ground. The interior features abstract designs of two solid black bands surrounding a geometric motif with a round-bottomed triangle at its center. A beautiful example! Size: 5.75" in diameter x 1.625" H (14.6 cm x 4.1 cm)
