Native American, Hopewell, Ohio, ca. 100 BCE to 400 CE. A beautiful grey brown translucent chert blade. Knapped lithics like this one are made using percussion, striking them with other stones; the process required to get them the correct shape requires training and skill. Size: 1.65" W x 3.95" H (4.2 cm x 10 cm)
