Description
Impressive and unique dive knife made by Puma of Germany. This is the model Capri, 6368. Located on one side of the enlarged end of the blade is the Puma logo, 6368, Handmade Germany, Puma Capri, New Stainless Super Keen Cutting Steel. Base of blade on other side is the number 25082, which is a control number dating the knife to the 2nd quarter of 1980. There is a very small ping or dot on the blade. This is a proof mark applied by a diamond pointed needle, part of the Rockwell blade quality testing process. The sheath is in good condition with some minor scuffs. Pump actually purchased the Capri sheaths from Nemrod. In many cases the Nemrod logo can be found on them. Later sheaths made around 1985 were generic. Puma knives are high grade crated knives and the Capri was quite expensive divers knife. The overall length of the knife is approximately 11 inches long, blade is approximately 6 inches long. Please refer to photos for overall and specific condition.
