Pre-Columbian, Mexico and northern Central America, Mayan Territories, Late Classic, ca. 550 to 900 CE. A matched pair of beautiful pale greenstone earrings, rich with white inclusions that create a seafoam-like effect. Each is in the form of a tight hook, with tiny holes drilled through the broad upper portions for attachment. Size of one: 1.1" W x 2.25" H (2.8 cm x 5.7 cm); 3.25" H (8.3 cm) on included custom stand.
