A PAIR OF VICTORIAN CAST IRON URN JARDINIÈRES AND STANDS, LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH, each with a flaring ovule detailed rim above wasted sides centering a band of scrolling rinceaux in relief, flanked by reeded arch handles ending in classical bearded masks, over a tapering gadrooned cast base raised on a conforming fluted socle, height: 28 1/4", width: 24", depth: 21"; each on a neoclassical style rectangular pedestal stand with a leaf tip trimmed cornice and plinth centering square form column with berried laurel wreathes molded in relief, height: 26 1/8", width: 17 3/4", depth: 17 3/4".
Condition
Each is good condition for cast iron jardinieres of this age use and materials including but not limited to expected rust and pitting throughout, remnants of old paint and surface marks.
