A PAIR OF VINTAGE CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE PORCELAIN VASES, POSSIBLY REPUBLIC PERIOD, EARLY 20TH CENTURY, each of tapering bud form centering a polychrome enameled interior scene of maidens and youths at various pursuits under the watchful gaze of a lady chaperone beneath a rounded shoulder enclosing panels of auspicious blossoming and fruiting foliage alternating butterfly and floral painted clusters, flanked by molded beastly masks suspending elongated loop handles, above a similarly decorated base, verso overglaze iron red square seal stamp. Height: 16 1/8" Width: 8" Depth: 6"
