F. GORE (British 1913-2009) TWO PRINTS "VE Day," and "But Where Do I Get My Ration Book?" 1991, comprising two screenprints on paper, "VE Day," (completed after 1946 collage), signed "F. Gore," dated L/R, titled and numbered 16/100 L/L in pencil, 17 1/4" x 19"; "But Where Do I Get My Ration Book," (completed after 1946 collage), signed "F. Gore," dated L/R, titled and numbered 16/100 L/L in pencil, 19" x 17 1/4". Note: Frederick Gore taught Art at St. Martin's School of Art in London and was an early teacher of David Brauer's. Provenance: Estate of David E. Brauer, Houston, Texas.
