Named to: Robert Alan Shumway, Sr. It appears that Shumway began his career in the U.S. Regular Army in 1943-1944 according to a letter he wrote about being injured during training. He was discharged in 1946 and switched to the U.S. Air Force to finish out his career. In the Air Force he was a Aviation Cadet. There is so much included that we are unable to list everything.
