In front of his feet is a kneeling worshipper. The God is surrounded by a beaded gate or aureole with two other adorents standing beside him, only reaching above his knee, they are gesturing the abhaya and varada mudra. All of the figures are dressed in short dhotis and with their hair in a chignon or high pointy headdress. Suryas dhoti is fastened around the waist with a festooned belt, sacred thread runs along his chest, a necklace decorates the torso. His arms are adorned with bracelets and armlets, one hand is pointing to the ground with thumb and index finger touching, the other hand is pointing to the sky with thumb and index finger touching. His face is smiling slightly with downcast eyes and a raised elongated urna in the center of the eyebrows.
