Quality reproduction of an 1839 period sword believed to be of the time and period of The Pastry War (1838-39), a Franco-Mexican fight in which Santa Anna lost a leg during battle.Â
With black leather wire wrapped grip, brass pommel and three branch guard. With hallmarks to the guard, blade hilt, and upper blade edge.
