Titled, "ADITI," inspired by Aditi, the goddess of the earth, sky, unconsciousness, the past, the future and fertility in Vedic Hinduism. The goddess is depicted as a fairy-tale bird with large wings, with which she carefully covers a young semi nude woman. Signed to lower center with Limited Edition number 194/250. Includes circa 1990 magazine article about artist to verso. Presented in a decorative matte and frame. Good to fair condition, water damage to area in lower right quadrant, some wear and minor loss to frame, paint spatter to frame. Measures approximately 37 1/4 in. x 25 3/4 in.
