Roman, Imperial, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. A dazzling pair of earrings, each presenting with a cylindrical agate bead in translucent hues of violet, beige, and caramel topped with an ovoid carnelian bead, boasting a vibrant shade of red. A glass barrel bead in a lustrous tone of silver caps the ensemble. Both set with modern hooks, these lovely earrings are perfect for everyday use, as well as special occasions! Size of each earring: 1.75" L x 0.25" W (4.4 cm x 0.6 cm); Size of largest bead: 0.5" L x 0.25" W (1.3 cm x 0.6 cm)

All beads are ancient. Hung on modern hooks in modern times. Very light nicks to carnelian beads in areas. Otherwise, excellent, intact, and wearable.
