Jackie Kennedy & Cabinet Invitation to "An Evening with Robert Frost"

1p, measuring 5.75" x 4.5", Washington, D.C., dated May 1, [1961]. The invitation reads "Under the Honorary Chairmanship of Mrs Kennedy The Members of the President's Cabinet request the honor of your presence..." Robert Frost was one of the Kennedys' favorite poets, and the event was held at the State Department Auditorium. Frost had also been invited to present two of his poems at the Kennedy Inauguration just a few months prior. Frost was 87-years-old at the time of the event and would die two years later.
