Description
Late 18th century, mahogany with curly maple and flame birch veneer. Octagonal top and case with dovetailed, fitted top drawer and pull out bottom with silk work bag. Tapered legs with pierced cross stretcher. Silk baghas loss and late covering, veneer loss, age splits. 29.25"h. 18"w. 15.75"d.
Condition
Bag is extremely fragile and incomplete. Late white cover is attached with straight pin. Age split goes through top, multiple areas of veneer loss. Stretcher appears to be original to piece.
