Description
AMERICAN LEADED GLASS TABLE LAMP ON PATINATED WHITE METAL BASE H 22" DIA 16" Having an elaborate multicolored leaded glass shade H.10.38" Dia. 15.75". Black patina white metal gourd form base with adjustable telescoping riser. Electrified. No markings on either shade or base. Shade H 10.75, Dia 16". Base and shade appear to be c. 1920 - 1940. Provenance: Estate of Jack Faxon, Michigan Senator and creator of the Michigan Council for the Arts.
Condition
Approximately 15 cracked glass panels. Base has some losses to black patina in several spots. Base has the ability to adjust from 15.75" - 22" however, the set screw is missing. Base and shade photographed at lowest adjustment height. Two noticeable losses to base patina.
