Allie Reynolds was given the nickname "Super chief", a name he was not comfortable with because the title of Chief holds a lot of importance. In fact, it's been said that the name Super chief ties into the Santa Fe Railroad's Super chief due to its speed, elegance and power. So to his face, teammates called him Allie, when he wasn't in the room, he was chief because they felt he was a real leader. This signed ball comes in its original box with his name hand written on the inside flap. Ball has yellowed a bit over time, but signature is clear with no bleed.
