Jackie Robinson, I think that is all you need to say to get the attention of any sports fan in the world. With his jerseys bringing in millions of dollars it is always fun when an item that was directly related to his sports ability come up for sale that everyone can afford.

Presented to Jackie personally in March of 1959. This is after coming off of his historic introduction to Major League Baseball and how he shattered the glass ceiling for black athletes. That alone is about as important to say of someone than anything you could imagine today!

This award is from the County of Los Angeles, and talks about his achievements at USC to his Hall of Fame career with the Dodgers!

You know you are important when your player number is retired by every major league club in baseball and will be forever. This also includes any new teams coming into the league in the future.
