Item Details

Description

This is a set of "Official Photographs of the Shoshone Dam, Reservoir, Electric Power Plant and Canyon, made and sold by A.G. Lucier, Powell, Wyoming." The Shoshone Project was executed by the United States Reclamation Service. Back of the envelope has a map outlining the Project, at upper left. There are 30 real photo prints. We show a selection that includes the Lake Hotel and Old Faithful Inn at Yellowstone National Park and other Yellowstone sights, as well as views of the dam. Photographs measure 4” x 6”

The photographs are in near fine condition, the original envelope has some losses. See Photos
